ips
This may be a stupid question but here goes... How much of a problem are rabbits as far as keepers are concerned. ? Is the control of rabbits in the vicinity of release pens and cover crop considered hugely beneficial to a keeper or are they no real threat to an estate. ? ColinF
I don't think rabbits are a problem around release pens, but they can do a lot of damage to cover crops, particularly when the young plants are emerging Edited May 24, 2017 by ColinF
SurreySquireler
Well if they dig into your pen, that could let in foxes over time, if they decide to enlarge the holes
Tollerman
I would imagine that whoever farms the estate would want rabbit numbers controlled. If you have a buzzard problem leaving a few dead rabbits out on the field could help to reduce the number of poults taken. Also think someone on a different post said, hang shot rabbits in pen, as pheasant like maggots..
