Vince Green
just bought a brand new rifle in .223, scoped it up this morning, went out to zero, and grouping like a shotgun, 55 gr ppu, run it in as per the norm, then tried a half box of remington ive had lurking in the cabinet, RESULT, gutted realy as ive got about 8 boxes of ppu Go back and try the PPU again after you have put a couple of hundred rounds through the rifle, new barrels can be quirky. What size group do you define as like a shotgun?
pigeonbasher1
hi vince, did as you suggested last night, was getting a bit worried as i only had 6 rounds of remmingtons left, anyway stuck target up @100 yds (2inch black stick on circle) 2 rounds ppu in the mag after 2 shots RESULT both touching in the centre of the circle, one happy bunny, to say i nearly chopped them in, patience is all i needed, atb ray
