Dunkield
Colleague at work has been offered a HW77 in mint condition, with scope 3-9x40 something or other, nothing fancy. Asking price is £150 - about right/bargain/rip off? I have seen that they were £300 new, and they now seem obsolete - is there anything else to know about them? SNAKEBITE
Na, don't let him have it. However incase it does end up in the wrong hands I will be prepared to take it off the streets for £140, cash. Just for peace of mind ofcourse. Axe
Bar making sure the gun has been regularly serviced and tha the scope is 'springer friendly', id say itwas a good deal. Its a heavy gun but works a treat.

joekid
good one theyre as accurate as any spring airgun on the market today, and as powerfull, happy shooting, i would get it tuned by your local gunshop though, if your new to airgunning as sticking a spring in it yourself may cause you or your gun a bit of damage, and it pays to be legal. they still sell the same version mk 1 even now,
