oowee
Some days you set up the hide and everything comes together. I got my new a300 a week ago a direct replacement for my three year old model that was a little tired but with a 26" barrel rather than the 28". A report of corvids on the Barley stubble had me on site for a rather lazy 0900 and set up facing east. Lots of cloud covered the sun and i had a nice flat set up. Good cover from the hedge over my head, allowing me to step forward to shoot coffee in the flask and I was good to go. Gun worked well (very quick) and i was finished by 1245 with 107 shot and 98 picked. Mixed black with a few pigeons thrown in. I used Georges proper cartridges (30g no5) and was very impressed. They even come in a bright red case which makes finding the empties so much easier.
