6011 and 7014

6011 and 7014 are the fracture strenghth of the welds the rods produce.....if you are just doing general welding stick to the 6011.....they are easier to use than the 7014...if you are doing structural welds you need to start thinking about /using low hydrogen rods..........but before you do ...you need to be able to weld first as the low hydrogen and high fracture strength rods are more difficult to use..

Weld lots with cheap 6013, then worry about rod type. £5.99 for 5kg! Been through 45kg this year of these and there not bad.
