wymberley
Guys, Could anyone who has one kindly do me a favour, please? Age and too many years kneeling on aircraft stringers have put paid to my knees. Just spent the day in a hide and now they're on fire. What I would like to know is the height of the seat top with the legs fully extended. Don't want to fork out and find that they're no higher than my existing set up. Many thanks in advance. Walker570
I have one which I use for shooting both driven days and in a hide. I'm just over 6ft and have similar age related problems of finding difficulty in standing from a low sitting position. Don't laugh you youngsters, the experience awaits you . Workshop is all locked up at this moment so cannot measure but can say that the highest setting is more than adequate to allow me to sit comfortably, but stand without any trouble for an approaching bird. I do cheat occasionally and shoot whilst still sitting because these Stag seats swivel so easily for a smooth swing through. Great bit of kit. I have also made attachments which slide into the storage holes for the legs which form a rifle rest and elbow rest for shooting out of my pop up blind. Unless anyone else comes up with the measurement overnight, I will make a measurement first thing in the a.m. and post it. I started reading Teal's thread on this and have found the answer therein (600mm). I think it'll do nicely heightwise. Cheers.
mick miller
They're great, but hard on your bum. So take, or fashion, a cushion.
jimmyb79
I don't have mine to hand to measure, but in terms of comfort, I found the cushion from any old spinning bucket seat fits perfectly on the Begara.
