steve_b_wales
I'm thinking of adding one of the above to my NV scope.(Pulsar 750A) There's a few on the market at varying prices. One that I'm looking at is advertised on Ebay # 142448548550 It looks okay and the guy who's selling it lives approx 7 miles from me, and has offered me to view it at his home. Any thoughts on this? Dougy
Looked into them a while go, they might be ok out to 200yds at a push. But not worth it really, if your shooting any 22cf you just aim dead on. I was looking at 400+ yds, there has got to be problems with parallax as you go out that distance. Zetter
Ive got one which use it mainly on my .22 LR with the adjustable mount they are nice and easy to setup and is clear through my Ward D. I have played about and ranged bushes/ fences out to 400 yards but cant really comment on how it would perform on say a fox out to this sort of distance. I would want one to give a fox sized target at a maximum of 250 yards.
Zetter
Im out next week Steve so I will have a play with my LR and it on the side of that. One one of my shoorts there is an old scrap 15 kgs gas cylinder so I will set that out at about 250 yards and see what the ping is like off it if you like? The guy who is selling them on Ebay has a write up on them which states they work up to 700 yards. I'll take that with a pinch of salt! As mentioned, I can go and see the rangefinder next week, but won't be able to try it out in the dark, owing to him working night shifts. To be honest, I don't need one of these, I just fancy one! Dougy
They are mounted independently of the scope so line of sight will always be different on all but 1 point/range. The further out the target gets the greater the error, and the smaller the target the chance of it being accurate gets smaller. For 300yards shots steve on Fox's just zero at a range that gives you maximum point-blank range.
Verminator 66
not sure what i can put up on hear but got a video of me shooting a fox at 280 yards with it you can see the flash of the rangefinder hitting the target and then click to stop on mark then just look at rangefinder and set and pull I wouldn't normally take that sort of shot but was really sure of the shot and my kit as you know steve

I'm not bothered about 600 -700 yards as advertised. As long as I can get 250, maybe 300 yards, that will be fine.I think I've seen the video you mentioned. Steve.
