The top of the mag is in 2 sections. If you put a round in you'll see that it is the front of the rear section that grips it. Put another round in one that's OK and this one should lie lower. If it does, then remove both rounds and see if you can notice a difference in the 2 'gapes'. If you can, all well and good, but even if not, it might just pay to gently manipulate the gape so it closes up a little.If it improves things, then gently close it up until the lie of the round when loaded matches the other good mag. However, this last adjustment is best done with the mags fully charged because the compressed follower spring will make a difference.
