yickdaz
after my last post shooting a few on barley stubbles the rape stubbles did not produce as we thought they would apart from one go on a disced in rape field for 18 they so often disappoint rape stubbles to be honest we have much more success on barley and wheat stubbles, still not finding the bigger bags as yet still chances with plenty of harvesting to do loads of spring barley still standing and some winter barley yet, along with some wheat I,m not knocking the bags we are getting but we can and have done better over the years by now

JDog
Almost all pigeon shooters including myself look forward to harvest time and stubble shooting and many are disappointed. There are just too many food sources to choose from a month or so into harvest. When 90% of stubbles are ploughed or disced or even redrilled then there may be better bags to be had as pigeons will have reduced options. aga man
At least you are getting out and having a few shots. I have yet to see anything worth setting up for this harvest. I might well have spied a little something for the weekend though
