bear-uk
I have a 10.8 dewalt kit and ended up with a non gen battery that gave up after 5 months. I took the original to bits and replaced the cells only to find out the charging pcb must have been faulty and it seems that you cant buy a new one. So after getting peeved off trying to charge the cheap battery I went out and bought a Makita 10.8 kit A couple of weeks later I realised I had been trying to charge the 10.8 battery with the 18v charger. old'un
Brought one of these about 6/7 years ago and its been used a lot by me and a couple of friends and still going strong, batteries are easy to get, about £40 each, the SDS will put a 1/2 inch hole through brick in the blink of an eye, the hand drill/hammer will drill 1/2 inch holes in wood or steel with ease, highly recommend them....https://www.screwfix.com/p/bosch-gbh18v-ec-gsb18-2li-18v-3-0ah-li-ion-cordless-combi-drill-sds-plus-drill-twin-pack/8290J?kpid=8290J&ds_rl=1245250&gclid=EAIaIQobChMItYvPnbuE1wIVER4bCh2WMwCHEAQYBSABEgIU4PD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds&dclid=CILojsa7hNcCFYnGUQod-wECpw batteries are easy to get...https://www.powertoolsuk.co.uk/bosch-2607336815-battery-18v-4ah-coolpack-battery.html?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI4LPQ172E1wIVFzwbCh0RbAeLEAYYAyABEgLosfD_BwE Edited October 22, 2017 by old'un

Ultrastu
I'm a professional tradesman and I punish my tools every day for years . When it comes to battery tools .there is only one choice .MAKITA every time . I've used all the others and work colleagues have dewalt and Hitachi and milwaukee etc .and the makita range beats them every time . I still use my first makita drill bought every day (2006 ) and still have one of its origional batteries It's a bit tired but still works on the radio and lighter tools like the jigsaw. List of 18v tools I own Double skill saw . Double. Chainsaw Router Drill driver Impact drivers x2 Planer Impact sds drill Jigsaw All awesome
