taxidermy dave Posted June 18, 2007 Report Share Posted June 18, 2007 On my way back from work i saw a dead jackdaw in the road and about 20 metres up the road was a live one wandering round on the kerbings,so me being the soft *** that i am,got out and and picked it up(could tell it was a young one by its kermit looking beak otherwise i wouldnt of bothered).Now hes here in the aviary looking quite happy for himself,i was wondering if anyone has had any experiance looking after these,ive fed him dog food,maggots and bread soaked in water,which hes taking from tweezers,anything else i can give him or do. i can guarrente some of you will say let him go but i cant hes too dopey looking!!! :unsure: dave Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Ferret Master Posted June 19, 2007 Report Share Posted June 19, 2007 I know a chap who raised a jackdaw by hand but it used to live in the pigeon holes with the wild jackdaws.
