Its on the evening of 7th November The menu is as follows... Poppadoms and dips to start followed by an amuse bouche Duck Pan seared duck served with saag spinach sauce and mint onion potatoes Venison Spice marinated Venison, served with a tempered yoghurt sauce and tomato potato ragout Partridge Pickle marinated partridge roulade served with curry leaf mash – tamarind curry sauce Kulfi Rose and cardamom kulfi served with mixed berries, cream and biscuit crumb Its £35 a head and if anyone wants to book call them on the numbers below 0116 2623119 or 07821055193 Theres a Facebook event with more details here - goo.gl/yfzLJk Thought that maybe some of the foodies on here who would be interested! Teal
Fantastic to hear, only wish this one was a bit more local. It sounds a good evening. Game is so versatile, it really would be good to see more restaurants using it in season, and getting it to new audiences!

I feel much the same; Love game and love Indian food - but need to be cautious as both bring on gout. Many years ago I partly ran quite a large shoot - and one of our regular guns used to be friendly with the people who then ran a major prestigious hotel in London. Our birds were delivered there the evening of the day they were shot by Rolls Royce! No doubt nowadays regulations would prevent that sort of thing, but all we needed then was a license to sell game, which was quite easily obtained and was a poaching prevention measure rather than connected with hygiene.food standards.
