Scully Posted November 22, 2017 Report Share Posted November 22, 2017 Just watching an old James May programme in Dave, in which he is presenting the story of the micro car. In relating the history of the Citroen 2CV and the Renault 4 as military vehicles, and in typical Top Gear style, they test their capability in that role. May first fired a few shots at them from a high vantage point with a No4, then an AK47 ( which he apparently wasn’t allowed to fire for the pathetic reason it was S5 ! ) followed by a belt from a GPMG, and then for good measure, a few projectiles from a bazooka! TIGHTCHOKE Posted November 22, 2017 Report Share Posted November 22, 2017 Points to note; 1. When firing an RPG7 at thin skinned vehicles do not repeatedly put the projectiles through the windows. The fuze is an impact type and requires severe deceleration to function! 2. Stuff like this is great fun, even better if done from a helicopter!
