Hawke Panorama On 243

I’m trying to test different powder loads for my 243 rifle, unfortunately the scope I had is a dot at the centre and first focal plane.

At 100 yards on full zoom (x12) the dot covers over 50% of my 10” circle. It’s fine for stalking but for trying to be as accurate as possible it just doesn’t seem to be for that job.

I recently bought a second hand Hawke Panorama 4-12x50 with the 10x1/2 Milldot reticle - I’ve got the same scope on a spring  air rifle and looking on line they appear to be all calibre rated.

Mum tempted to stick in on the 243 whilst at least developing different bullet charges etc before swapping back to the stalking scope.

Just wondering has anyone used one and what do they think?
