manthing
Another newbie question. Don't worry not that one ? Just wondering if choke threads are universal or manufacturer specific. Will Franchi chokes fit a Beretta? Just incase I see a good deal on a set.
grrclark
It depends on the choke system. Someone on here will give you a definite answer, but I think Franchi use the Beretta Mobil choke system and if that is the case then they would be inter changeable with other Beretta guns who use the Mobil choke system, but Beretta also have Optima chokes and the Mobil would not be compatible with them or vice versa. Stonepark
Franchoke is franchis own and not compatible, from about 2000 onwards they swapped to beretta mobil choke and as beretta/benelli have upgraded to optima/crio they seem to have stuck with mobil. B391
I have a Franchi Affinity and use a couple of Beretta Mobil chokes I bought for it from the Euro Beretta web site. They are exactly the same.
