NatureBoy
Very Quiet my way! To quiet! 20+ been a good day. Very few pigeons about and even less trafic! They are on the rape, but most of the time a few shots and they gone. Moving on to the next block and stay there. Very few gas bangers being used this year to move them about. Is there a change of thought by farmers using them as a deterrent at the mo? Had plenty of squirrels tho. NB

NB I cover a fair bit of ground and I have less rape this year, the large numbers I was seeing on stubble in September and October have now moved on, there are pigeons around the rape fields but not in big numbers, 50-100, was talking to a farmer this morning after looking at a few rape fields and I said I had not heard ANY gas guns, his reply was, no point in wasting money if they not hitting it in numbers, but they will, just give them time.
