Description

14 3/4 pull to the front trigger
Wow !!!
I’ll say that again WOW !!!!!
Just back home from nitro proof
Stunning Damascus browning done to a massively high standard by one of the Best smiths in the business!!
70 mm ( 2 3/4 inch) chambers
Shuts like a purdey!
This must be the oldest top lever hammerguns we’ve restored
Might even be a converted pinfire
Might explain the lack of Chokes
The hammers go to half cock
They are Non rebounding locks so need to be half cocked to open it
The forend is a loop and peg style ( again confirming its age)
We think it’s around the 1860’s
What a BARGAIN!!!
There is Nothing like it available in the UK at this price

Grab yourself a Stunning chunk of English History

Yes, wow indeed.

Whats the story on 2 3/4 chambers on such an old gun.

We use one of the only gunsmiths that have the tooling to re chamber to 70 mm it’s better for the gun when going through nitro proof on older black powder Guns because it reduces breech pressure
