Sco77w
Has anyone any experience with having a gun re parkerised? i've got a 1982 (I think) pump action shotgun winging its way to me and there's some corrosion on it so I'd like it re finishing. I know the sensible thing to do would be to have it ceracoted but I want to maintain its originality. Can anyone recommend anyone in the South Yorkshire or surrounding area that does it? Ricko
I remember seeing an article in either Practical Classics or Classic Bike about Parkerizing or Coslettizing using a kit. Mind you it as a good few years ago.
figgy
I’d go with cerakote if it needs refinishing as it’ll protect it and make more user friendly not having to worry about getting it wet. For having done back to original type finish send it to barrel blacker on here.
