Maxum has better wood (sometimes) and much heavier engraving. I've tried about a dozen B Rizzinis over the last 3-4 years and whilst they're similar in many ways they all felt very second rate compared with CGs.

No idea about Chapuis but I do like knowing that should a gun need warranty attention or - heaven forbid - develops a fault, there's a sound support organisation available. That pretty much rules out Chapuis and I seriously doubt Rizzini backup is anywhere near as good as it is with CGs.

All very good points @Westward -- I have to say I'm tempted by Both Chapuis and Rizzini, but the service I get from CG has been fantastic...
