hughtrimble
Greetings Pigeon Watchers, This site was recommended to me as a great place to learn more about suppressed .410 shotguns and what to look for when appraising a used one, so I'm looking forward to digging into the depths of the forum. Cheers
Newbie to this
Unfortunately I know noting about suppressed .410 shotguns, but I'm certain there will be people that do

Looks like there's already one in this very thread. 1 hour ago, steve_b_wales said: Welcome to PW. Thank you 35 minutes ago, Ultrastu said: Welcome I have a bit of an idea .about them . What do you wanna know ? Great, thank you Ultrastu. I'm going for the lower end of the market with these (£200 max. sort of region for a single shot break barrel), so I was hoping to find out what to look for when examining them in person, given these will be used and far from young in age? I'm not a serial shotgun flipper - only ever had the one for sporting clays - and I had a great deal of help from experienced shooting friends in person when buying, so I had no real input in checking out the action, wear and tear, spots that might need sorting etc. and given the addition of a suppressor on these, I imagine there are things to look for internally that might not immediately jump out at you until it's too late! So any suggestions as to hotspots to look for that would be a tell tale sign of a 'steer well clear' job?
