ChrisDavey
As I shoot over long open fields with patchy hedgerows, I have found over the years that camo clothing works well when being slow and stealthy but when your perimeter is 2 miles long, and you can be seen around the field the element of surprise needs a helping hand. I therefore looked all over for ghilie suits of various types and found the product so expensive that I gave the HomeMade / DIY a good thought and come up with some very usefull tips, contacts and everyday materials to use, which will allow you to make a full length ghillie suit with hood for £40 .... in the shops you'll see they are closer to £200 for a DIY one. Base material is a suit from nylon net bags, cut and re-stitched with zip-ties, jute string dyed, hessian dyed and all tied on. A volia !! one human tree / bush - gets you close enough to grab the bunnies ! If you want contacts for materials, more details how to DIY, rough prices, and photos contact me by email Beats the hell out of a shop bought and taylored to suit both you, terain and seasonal backgound

Roughshot
Made a poncho style ghilie suit A bit of old hide material with some strips of sack tied on. Works well on crows along with a face veil. Wouldnt wear it travelling to the shoot though
