Walker570
No, not me, I know that all ready Anyone have any idea/knowledge of an after market dimmer switch I can fit to one of my 12 v Lightforce lamps? Either one I can retro fit or I can put in the cable. Looked on google and seem to only find 240v dimmers for house domestic use.
steve_b_wales
These work well. I have use them for many years on different lamps etc. You can remove the outer casing to make it even smaller if required. I fitted one inside a 240 Blitz lamp. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2X-12V-24V-8A-Manual-Dimmer-Switch-Ajustable-Controller-For-3528-5050-LED-Strip/132386857076?hash=item1ed2df2074:g:bXQAAOSwnw9Z~c5B

Dekers
I'm pretty sure it was steve_b_wales who put me on to these a few years back now, https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/132386857076?clk_rvr_id=1497199111072&rmvSB=true they are a great piece of kit and mine is still going strong. I took my dimmer apart as mentioned, and mounted the whole thing inside my old Deben Max, variable control outside and the 2 grey plastic screws holding circuit board internally. I first 'discovered' them on the Ali Express site (China) then found them on Ebay.

Simple to wire up. The live/neutral wires (Brown/Blue) from the battery connect to the 'IN' connector, and your lamp wires connect to the 'OUT' connector.
