Good morning Konor,

Yes, the Germanic engraving is very different to British!

Big and bold and a bit crude, but like it for the door it opens into another world.

My surname being Hare, I sort of Had to buy this one, LOL.

It has poxy barrels but a lovely stock. will endevour to take pictures.

Mine was only around a hundred Pounds delivered.

29 1/2 inch tubes.

It is hard to say who got the best deal with the Ferlach and O/U 20!!

I think you both did well!!

Here is a snippet re. the alterations to the A&D often used by German gunmakers....

Thanks Rich I’ll catch up with that link. The game engraving is a lot better than the pheasant on my Cogswell and Harrison I had . It looked akin to almost the size of a turkey

It’s the one flying

Lovely guns Felwad!

Can you give us any details?

The John Blissett started life as a pinfire.

I do make cartridges for my other one. (WR Pape)

Have  little Belgian 16 bore  double by Donnachie Amsterdam!

I need to make hammers for it.

All best old pal,

Richard.

John,

That pheasant would have a helluva time getting off the ground!

He'd be a very dangerous missle if you shot him overhead.

Very nice gun though!

It would feed a family of four for a few days . Now sold on at Holts made a small loss but I’d a good few years with it so acceptable gun rent
