I tryed the Home blue kit 1st . Looked amazing . Took it on the 1st clay day in the light there were some brown ish patched . And at end off the day once the barrel got hot was pritty much all brown in the sun light . 

I thinking of doing my Rem 1100 the same. as the blueing on that has worn thought on the barrel, and the receiver is doing the same . Again didn’t pay lots for it so why not try the paint route . Can alway strip it and then pay out for a reblue.
