Fisherman Mike
I made a stick for Digger some 14 months ago and posted it Royal Mail. Its just come back damaged in transit undelivered after over a year, I cant believe it, and the bu***rs are on strike ! It was wrapped so well I can only assume it was opened for security reasons ( must admit it looked a bit like a gun ) but dont they have xray equipment or is that just at airports ? I must admit I didnt send it recorded so let that me a lesson to me. Poor old Digger has been waiting for 12 months !! Bring back the stage coaches !!! njc110381
You shouldn't have to send things recorded to get a good service! Getting it back broken after that long is a very poor show, I'd be having words!
SNAKEBITE
How the heck can it take 14 months to be returned? Did they lose behind the sofa or something? Unbelievable.
Highlander
FM if it was a 'walking stick' maybe that's why it took so long to do the rounds! On the other hand if it was a throwing stick...aren't they designed to come back!
henry d
In this area we get lots of Royal Mail problems, mainly letters getting sent to Perth AUSTRALIA !!!!!!!! Lots of which do not even get back here and those that do take a couple of months Just today we find out that my Father-in-law didn`t get his birthday card even though it was sent on Saturday morning..................on top of that my best mate is a postie and it`s no surprise to him !!!!! digger
In all fairness to Mike I sent him some flies I will never use as I dont have time to fly fish. He very kindly offered to send me a stick he had made and I ( if memory serves me correct ) said not to bother as I was glad he would use them. Received a pm today from Mike apologising that said hand made stick had not been received. Restores my faith in man kind somewhat. On that note - Dan, my wife returned from her office today with your mags still in the envelope as she hasn`t managed to send them through her work. Stupid really as I gave her the money to take the parcel to the post office. They will be on their way first thing in the morning, the next batch I will post from Vancouver next month
