Pigeon Shredder.
A while back l promised to Crono the CCI A17's 17g cartridges, well today l finally got around to it, so. CZ 452 American, 16" barrel + SAK moderator fitted. Set up 9 feet from the Crono and firing with the wind. Results, 2637, 2630, 2627, 2632, 2589 fps recorded. CCI claim 2650 at the muzzle so l would say that they ain't doing to bad. As for accuracy today l've had Magpies, Squizzers , Pigeons and Rabbit to this little round all over 100/125 yards, l wouldn't say that hit hard, l would say they just destroy and unzip what thay hit ! Dougy
16inch barrel would reduce velocity, so I would say the stated figures are about right. I once checked some federal and they came out an average of 2660 or just over the stated velocity. From what I'm hearing the ammo is improving too. Purely theoretically, 2640 at the muzzle from your figures and from their's, it looks as though they've upped the BC from the usual 0.125 to 0.14.
