A pleasant hour.

After a few outings looking for rabbits on my regular haunts I have come to a conclusion, I am doing too good a job. Of late not seeing any numbers and only coming home with ones and twos. Tried a new grass field tonight,  hay has been off a couple of weeks so nice clean field. I chose one end of the field with large patch of brambles growing in the ditch. I chose well, pulled on the field at 6.20pm, left at 7.20. The nine rabbits shot ranged from 55-110 yds. Have had a lot going on lately, so that hours shooting was share bliss, and as usual the little 452 didnt miss a beat.

Was that shooting from sticks LB or was it a drive by, from you past posts I see You continue to be deadly with that 452 as Ditchy says. Where you shooting subs out of it?

I always shoot from my LR,  no window in drivers side door and gunrest fitted. I always use 42 grain Winchester subs, the 452 runs well on them. I have had the odd miss as everyone has from time to time. I will say this, if i miss its down to me not the rifle.

I have the same rifle but mine likes remmington subs 38 grain, never tried the winnies out of it. As you say if you miss it down to the individual.
