Walker570
I have one self made with a pair of rotary foam wings driven by a Disco window winder motor. It works and have had birds pitch in right alongside. Have an intermittent switch fitted.
Longstrider
I made a flapper with a little 12v motor from Flea-Bay. It runs too slowly for pigeons but works brilliantly with crows Am thinking of making another with a better motor for pigeons because if it's half as good with them as this one is with crows I'll be a very happy bunny indeed. deny essex
I never used one in 30 plus years of pigeon shooting apart from a string pull one for a very short time. But I now never go out without a battery remote/timer one and often use 2.
