Scully
Just had a thought while browsing the ‘Green’ thread, and wondered why did he appear before a Select Committee hearing? I don’t mean what was the reason he was there, but why did he feel compelled to turn up? Is it illegal not to do so, and if not, why, with all his wealth, didn’t he just give them them the middle finger and say ‘swivel’? He obviously wasn’t happy to be there, so why did he bother? Why does anyone bother?
