bishop
Rather than the 50g /42 grain lead load i propose the 37g steel load with its 40 grains (steel load off c&g) may be adaptable for lead as i do not ilke those 50g lead loads at all-.Any suggestion as to what powder charge should be "acceptable" for a 37 or 42g lead load???? using csb-0. bishop
without data its totally speculative with no proof house testing been done they are overcharged m8 for sure these 50g offerings.A nice 1 3/8 style load would be good.i used a fiocchi round back in the day-- lead load yellow cased (mini magnum) lovely goose stoppers they were.i used em in my russian hammergun. bishop
Done it in a 37g Bismuth too .patterned well at 45 yards albeit a tad thin (but it was BB).Might try 42g with the 40 grains. It was also 1/2 choke so ,full choke would draw that pattern in.
