Look to spend more on a used scope than the rifle. I went from a £200 new scope to a 40 year old S&B 6x42 and the difference was like night and day. spandit Posted December 6, 2018 Report Share Posted December 6, 2018 I'd say with a rimfire you can shoot with NV or a lamp so dusk scope performance is not as important as it is on a deer rifle.
