dead eye alan
3rd week running set up on the top of the hill by the look out same as last week, it was very fogy at 7.45 and visibility about 40 to 50 yards. The field had been sheep fenced on Friday so had to pull out a couple of posts to drive to the hide position. It started to clear by 8.35 and the first bird arrived and was dispatched, in the first hour i had 5 birds for 7 shots with the mossburg husher very very good for me! The fog had now gone and the sun braking through the birds flighting well, the shooting now deteriorated back to a lot of misses. Wanted to be home for the rugby so packed up at 3.15 with 24 picked up for 54 cartridges 😖 popped in to see Tom and drop him some shooting mags and a couple of brace for the week. The rugby was a big disappointment to much kicking and poor discipline but it's only a game. 😎.
getthegat
Sort of know what you're saying here, I've had 3 different Hushers, pump and over under both sold on, only got the Pedretti single left (mainly as a gun safe ornament) had very varied days with them, mostly poor and my confidence went down dramatically. Now getting on well with Franchi Raptor 20 bore semi, nice light easy to use gun. Wished I could have been as good as others on here with Hushpower, useful tool. Nice write up, nice number of birds and just great to be out in the country air, doing what we love. Good on ya.

Clodhopper
Nice report, it’s always a bit of a gamble when there is a fog but it worked out for you in the end.
