Westward Posted August 6, 2019 Report Share Posted August 6, 2019 Sorry if this is unpopular with some posters, however bear in mind I'm an ex-biker myself... There are some bikers near me with no silencers at all and for years they've delighted in squirting their bikes up the local lanes and under bridges etc. Consequently I'm all in favour of reducing noise pollution from vehicles - and not just from bikes. But as the police only ever appear for accidents, demos, church fetes and swans in the road I think it should be rigorously tested at MOT and not by yet another sneaky, automated system of prosecuting offenders by computer.
