RAC renewal

I've just received a renewal for the above @ £219:00. I contacted them and asked for a better quote. The agent went through all I've got and said that as I've been a long standing customer (14 years) I get either onward travel or key renewal free. I opted for onward travel, and as the quote included this (at £36:00) that was deducted, leaving £183:00. I then asked for a further discount as I was a 'long standing customer' and a further £52 was deducted, AND an extra 3 months added to the policy, giving 15 months. I went ahead and renewed it. The policy includes Roadside Recovery, Onward Travel, At Home call out (including outside my house) and covers my wife and her car too.

There are many other's out there who are cheaper and probably just as good or better, but I decided to stick with who I've been with for all these years.

That seem like a bargain to me , if you don't mind me asking , what size car , petrol or diesel , roughly value and if you have full no claim discount .

Mine come up for renewal soon and I will certainty get a quote off the R A C .

I cancelled mine as it went up £40-70 every year.

i told them to cancel my dd and ****** me they still took my money out. It was a right game getting it back.

im with Vw assist as it’s free for 3 years on commercial vans. It’s part of AA and they have been fantastic. The cable came off my door handle and it’s done , I had a puncture and the wheel wouldn’t come off so I rang them and in 20 mins it was done.
