Colt is stopping production of rifles for civilian sales.

Not sure if  you guys heard.  But colt said that their civilian line is no longer profitable so they have over a year of unsold inventory.   They are converting their civilian long gun department to catch up on backlogged foreign contracts.  Sad day I like their stuff.  It is expensive and the technology is outdated but there is something about owning a Colt. I grabbed two today before they are gone.  Shame that in a gun market the size of America that you cannot turn a profit.  They are still selling handguns to civilians.  I might try to find a bolt action m2012 before they dry up.

Only have to look at Remington, never thought they would be fighting off bankruptcy.

Most of the big manufacturers civilian lines are a tiny percentage of the production.

You want one of them big ole Colt peacemaker hand guns for your gongs along the drive 

Re the colt rifle, can you not buy a cheap stocked one and then order a grey laminate aftermarket stock.
