Electric Fence configuration

With a release pen situated inside a wood, what anti fox electric fence set up is recommended?  A 3 wire perimeter within 200 mm of the wire fence and what else??? Do you employ just one defensive ring or have another one out at a few mtrs , say 4 or 5? 

Beyond these 2 perimeters what other electric fencing would be needed inside a wood??

Not sure what wire fence set up they have other than the low level one around the pen but one has a bl....g radio that comes on in the night. does my head in as it scares the foxes for miles and I can't shoot them.

I run 2 rings at approx 200mm from the fence. One about 100mm off the ground and another around 250mm (this changes slightly due to the land). 
 

if you have enough wire, the fencer unit can handle it and it won’t be touching any cover you could try as many as you like. 
 

I do suspect a ‘clever’ sly mammal  may jump an outer ring.

I use 2 strands about a foot out from the pen fence, one maybe a foot high and one 3 or 4". I have heard of people running lines out at 90deg to the fence to stop foxes running round the pen. Touching all available wood, no problems so far!
