ditchman Posted January 18, 2020 Report Share Posted January 18, 2020 you need to remove all the laquer....use a light stripper with wire wool...that will empty the wood of the laquer ...so as to apply a stain or oil of your choice....oiling will take at least 4-6 weeks ...bit by bit ...it is no quick fix........... there are some real professionals on PW that will advise you ...put some pics up of what you have to work with...
