Farmboy91
Few coats of Danish later and it's finished. Probably going to use mine as a toilet roll holder but I'm considering knocking up a few more as kitchen roll holders too.
moondoggy
I like that, nice and rustic. You must have awfully large toilet rolls! Did you ever get round to making any spoons?
Farmboy91
Thank you. Haha, I'm hoping to stack 3 on top of each other, it's funny, when I was single a pack of 4 used to last 4-6 weeks. Since my missus has been here ' I ' am using more somehow. That's what she reckons anyway. No I haven't made any as of yet, they are on the list, when I've got a bit of spare cash I'm going to order a set of tools I've found that will hopefully cover spoon making and a few other jobs. Got a few bits of wood lined up for them though 👍

Not as massive fan of things that are made of metal or are modern.

I like metal , just as long as it's been in a forge and worked with a hammer , I really like the " just found it in the woods" look.

Don't get me wrong, I love the rat rod look on cars, and old rusty tractors trucks, I just think with furniture wood always gives that warm feel to a room, + I hate wasting off cuts 😂
