Tikkat3x
Has anyone been using the decathlon hide poles or the Durham decoy hide poles, they both look fairly strong but just wanted to see if anyone had any problems with the foot plates or anything? thanks
oldypigeonpopper
hello, the decathlon are strong steel and a good kick bar but the plastic clip holder can get loose with use, ideal in dry solid ground, i put my 2 on outside with 1 or 2 ally ones inbetween, not used the Durhams
Penelope
Decathlon hide poles are as tough as old boots, if a bit heavy.
Sweet11-87
ive got the whole decathlon pole set up 4 poles 4 cross braces and the bag. solid as rock when i set it all out but carrying it all the weight adds up quick. its all probably the most durable hide kit going but for me its the versatility. if its close to the car, windy, complex or if i feel i need the exercise i can build something as strong as a bomb shelter with all the gear or i can just whip 2 or 3 poles out the bag use one of the carry straps that come with the poles and im off. best bit 2 years no hassle warranty with a big company. they just send the replacements out. Chris912
Me and my friend use the decathlon hide set and can’t fault it. But I will say one thing 4 poles to cross members and to camo nets it’s heavy. Edited February 21, 2020 by Chris912 Add a image
