boo
Raining out so decided to clean up the 223 a bit , bolt handle paint removed and polished, other bit is an ase northstar mod , the paint was chipped & looking scruffy, so quick clean up , quite like the raw steel colour , but not really practical, so what do recommend to coat it with ? Something pretty hard wearing and dull finish be ideal ! Ideas welcome ....
boo
Been thinking, may lacquer & use horse bandage as a covering...
steve_b_wales
I use self cling camo bandage on mine, purchased via Ali Express. Cheap enough, and helps protect the metal, and also reduces any glare off my lamps.

boo
Heard of krylon paint , easy enough to apply ? What's the prep & does it need an adhesion undercoat ?
ninjaferret
Easy to apply, I've used it with and without undercoat, painted rifles, jeeps, ferret boxes, flask, lol
