Lancs Lad Posted August 17, 2007 Report Share Posted August 17, 2007 I had one of these and unless you concrete it into the ground and mount it on a 2 inch steel rod, when you pull the string it falls to the ground................. Thankfully I left it in a hide that I had made up to save carrying some gear back to the car....and when I returned on my next trip, someone had stolen it............... More fool them..........but the other memeber is right....attatch more string/wire to the split pin and pull it.......the wings should flap...... Mr Slater Posted August 17, 2007 Report Share Posted August 17, 2007 I found one hidden in the depths of my garage. Added a rear wiper motor (it only turns through 90 degrees and then turns back) and a timer off eBay and it works a treat.
