WalkedUp
This really isn’t complicated. It seems clear that if a farmer or land manager etc has requested pest control services for the protection of agriculture or food production (storage etc) then proceed. Recreational shooting is not allowable. Personally I haven’t pulled the trigger for the longest period in many years, as soon as my phone rings with a request to sort out a problem I will ask for it to be sent in writing (text/email etc) then I will happily drive down ASAP, calling 111 once location etc has been confirmed to avoid causing any unnecessary disruption to our emergency services. Regardless of payment a simple rule to consider is “Has the shooting today been specifically requested due to a pest issue regarding agriculture, and (for an easy life) have I got proof of such if challenged to produce it?”
