lakeside1000
This morning I was out in the garden just pottering, checking on my seedlings etc, when I noticed something in the flower bed, so I quickly grabbed the camera and got this of a very large hen pheasant resting in the shrubbery, she didn't seem bothered by my shuffling around and stayed for some time before hoping over the fence and disappearing up the lane, we often get cock birds in the garden but this was the first hen we've seen, no sign of a nest but I think she may be nesting in the thick thorn hedge on the other side of the lane, I did warn her she was breaking lock down rules but she just ignored me. 7daysinaweek
Lovely. No chance of that where I am. Had a couple of ducks in the garden once in mating season they did not hang around though.
