Discovery 4 "restricted performance mode"

Recommended Posts

Came out the house this morning jumped in the Discovery, Red Triangle came up on the dash " limited performance mode"ūüė≤. it was fine when I drove it on Friday.

Anyone on here encountered this ? cars are now far too complicated!!

Getting plugged in to a diagnostics machine later.

Someone stole the rear lights the other week, its time we parted company.

Couldn’t agree more ! Kids today and for a while havnt had apprenticeships to be mechanics they are just fitters ! , plug in the diagnostics and fit what it tells them to fit ! , this is why I love my defender still repairable

Plugged it in, DPF regeneration not completed, only been doing short journeys due to lock down, so not getting is usual blast. Cleared the fault and and gave it an essential run up the motorway. Garage didn’t charge as I have been there a few times and put business his way.

shame-used to love the works D4's but my head and wallet says looks at something else.

one of my farmers swapped his at 40k after total engine failure.

all it did was trundle around his farms with no towing
