rayo Posted August 23, 2007 Report Share Posted August 23, 2007 A couple of weeks ago i knocked and asked a farmer for pemission to shoot Pigeons / Crows as there was quite a few crows on the stubble fields He told me he was only the tennant farmer and would have to ask the land owner so i said thanks anyway and sorry for bothering him and as i was leaving he then asked me for my phone number but has not rang me yet should i go back up and ask again or sit tight or do you's think it may not come to anything Cheers Ray Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Suffolk shooter Posted August 24, 2007 Report Share Posted August 24, 2007 Bearing in mind the time of year, he might just be busy trying to get the last of his crops harvested or evn then trying to prep and drill for next year's? As W P said give it another week, by which time, just politely enquire whether he has had the chance to ask the landowner, or even better try and find out who the landowner is him/herself and ask them if you can get permission on their land. You never know they may very well have other farms or pasture land to shoot over. Just remember to be polite and well dressed at all times and leave your number. All the best.
