Stobo19
Hi this year will be my first year wildfowling on the Eden Estuary and i was wondering if anyone had any helpful tips or would be willing to take me out and show me either areas to go or areas to avoid (its hard to gain much from google earth). I do a lot of wildfowling near Inverness for duck but would be keen to try and get under some birds whilst at Uni. Any help would be much appreciated Angus
bigmcg
Haven’t been to the Eden for a few years, but mainly used to shoot from the cobble shore for morning flights or decoy ducks up the river. good luck for the season.
figgy
Best to just get out and pick somewhere safe, put some decoys out and watch and call. If you get a shot or two bonus, if not at least you will see where they're feeding roosting and flighting to and from. Bit of luck a member on here will take you or will.know where you should go.
