Stimo22
We have soon Kenco straight feeders that we use on our duck shoot and we need some new impellers. These are rubber on a boss and 68mm across and 12 mm wide. Has anyone seen similar items in Uk as the last lot we got from USA and having a job to find any. anything similar that we could mod would do or ideas what we could use would be appreciated
old'un
Just done a quick google for these parts and seems they are now obsolete, the only thing I could find was someone in the US called BigDaddy@HuntSports.com Dont know if they still have these parts but you could always email him and find out, or perhaps find someone who could machine some up from nylon. Stimo22
Thank old’un , I got the last lot from Big daddy and have emailed him again but no answer yet, hope he may get back but hoping someone has seen something similar
old'un
I wasn't much help then. Without having one to look at (in the flesh) is it possible to knock the steel center out?
Stimo22
Yes the middle can be taken out, the centre is alloy and the impeller is rubber. There are several rubber impellers on eBay but nothing about the right size. I could make new centres if required
old'un
Could you make a mold and make some using silicon sealant?
Stimo22
yes just been looking on net and you can buy rubber casting kits, so may try to make a mould and see if I can make one to try
