Clay132
Hi everyone. Just signed up to the this all thought I’m an avid reader! Just some advice, I’ve just my SGC interview with Essex this week. They’ve said it can take up to 4 weeks and if I don’t hear anything I should contact them. The feo didn’t really mention anything majorly wrong with my application. Should I take this as a good sign that I’ll get my grant? Also, he showed me and example SGC and how to fill it in and etc is this a good sign? Or am I being overly optimistic and looking into it too much? Thanks in advance for youR comments

LeedsZeppelin
It's pretty much a waiting game. The FEO will know the current waiting time more than anyone else, so if he thinks it'll be four weeks there is no reason to assume otherwise. I wouldn't count on it too much though. Out of interest, are Essex insisting on a medical report? I think that can really throw a spanner in the works.
blackbird
If he said it will be 4 weeks & did not mention any previous bank jobs you might have been involved in etc I would say, you should have your ticket soon.
Clay132
@LeedsZeppelinyes they are so I had to give my medical form signed and completed along with my application. He didn’t really mention anything of concern @blackbird I did ask him it everything is fine to which he replied if nothing comes up from here it shouldn’t be. I know I’m probably just overlooking the situation but I’ve been considering applying for my SGC for years and now I finally have I’m over enthusiastic! Oh and to add Essex have been super quick with the process! From my initial application it only took 3 weeks to get my FEO interview. Must say I’m really impressed with their service!
