HORSCHSHOOTER
I have recently moved into a 1 floor barn conversion with underfloor heating,I thought I had an ideal location for my shotgun cabinet in a built in wardrobe with an outside wall, I purchase said fixings and a wire /pipe detector, the detector detects everywhere in the barn and I can’t find an area to drill, any advise please Dave
Scully
Have your walls been lined with a thermal board? If so your detector could be picking up a signal from the foil backed board. I find it hard to believe there are wires or pipes throughout.

williamwansbeck
Any sockets or switches or radiator in the line of placement,if not you should be ok,would expect a modern detector to differentiate even through foil backing.
