BSA Shaun
If you go FAC you will have to go a long way to beat a Rapid. Fantastic guns IMO, just a shame they are so pricey Mk 1 delivers 280 shots in .22cal 200 shots in .177cal Mk 2 delivers: 400 shots in .22 300 Shots in .20 200 Shots in .177 This is at 12ft/lbs not many can match that for a start. 08shooter
rapid in my opinion is massively over rated,as i have said before the others are just as good and better.rapids have a great shot capacity but at the cost of that hideous looking cylinder and i think they have a higher fill pressure too.daystate are nice rifles with a good back up service and as for the hw 100 they are a fantastic rifle. 08shooter
well kdubya i guess we will have to agree to disagree on this one the rapid design has been on the go since the early nineties i think and they still have nt tried to master the buddy bottle leaks.they still charge you extra to screwcut the barrel, and are now boasting a mk4 trigger.in my book technology is the way forward if not we would still be driving mk 3 escorts. daystate have developed the electronic trigger and 170 bar lean charge.as i have said before rapids are resting on their laurels of yester year.if they dont come up with something good shortly they will be left behind. fair enough they may be a good gun but need to step up a gear to move in front of the competition. as i said kdubya just my monies worth

BSA Shaun
A supergun in my eyes is a daystate or a steyr. Just think rapids are good tools

loopy bunny blaster
rapid's rock.... for a hunting gun you cant get much better than a rapid. and they wont get left in the distance, they are brilliant rifles and sound killing machines. creswick
Cheers for the replies dont get me wrong i love the hw100k but ive just started lamping and at the end of the night my arms kill maybe i`m doing something wrong. I just like the idea of a rapid larger shot cap plus hopefully lighter. There is also the option of a s10 bb carbine but i`m not sure about the shrouded barrel
